'Don't Diet.... Edit'Swap the letters in diet to edit, make it a lifestyle change to opt for healthier alternatives of your favourite foods rather than removing them completely. Every ingredient in all your favourite naughty recipes can be changed out for a healthier alternative. A fortnight ago, I made a very naughty cheesecake. Yes it tasted amazing, but I felt extremely guilty having scoffed almost half of it over 3 days. Several of my friends including myself are now back on plan, and I decided to attempt the cheesecake again with a healthier alternative. I have made several protein cheesecakes in the past but the majority have come out very bland with little flavour. In my opinion something has to give for a cheesecake and I decided to keep in the double cream in my improved version but opt for a reduced fat version, normally I would swap this for quark. The below table shows a comparison between both cheesecakes, from the ingredients to the macro's. The Recipe.....1. Crush the Ryvita, and add to a bowl, mixing the peanut butter, honey and whey. You can add in an optional 50g of 0% Fage into the mixture.
2. Place in a cheesecake tin in the Freezer for 1 hour. 3. For the Cheesecake add all the ingredients in a bowl, and blast with a hand mixer. 4. Remove the base from freezer and pour the mixture on top. 5. Place in the fridge for 2 hours. 6. We added in a crumbled protein cookie (another Nemesis Recipe), on top of the cheesecake, and added some choc shot.
